I found it tricky to remember to share all of the lollipops. I can share them but I forgot to share them all. I can remember that sharing between 2 people is the same as halving. Half of 18 is 9.

Instructional writing

We are learning to do instructional writing. We made spinach dip with some spinach from our garden.

I found it tricky to know what punctuation to use and how to set it out.

I am learning about capital letters and full stops. I was proud that I remembered that names started with capital letters. I remembered that full stops come after.

I am learning about shapes. I am happy with my 2D shapes but I need to learn more about 3D shapes and how I describe them.

I didn't know what the word favourite was so that was hard. I also forgot about root words. I need to remember that compound words are two little words that make a big word.

I am learning to write more than one idea. I like lightning writing. I write as much as I can in 10 minutes. I used a picture to give me ideas. I find it tricky to write more than one idea. My ideas match the picture.

My reflection:
I am learning my numbers before and after to 20. I find it hard to write my 9 the right way in 9 and 19. My next step is to learn to add these numbers together.
